I would not consider any of those names "American". Americans may have changed slight spellings but doesn't really change the origin of the name.

yeah is true but almost a 60% of the americans are named with this kind of names, not like:
Hakim, Karise, Rasik, Daien, Sakir, Patik, Rodek, petrov,
Azad al-Qassem, Falks, Kashif, Zarif, Semenov, Vlasov, Fredrik, Goran, etc, etc, etc.

Thats all very cool broooooo, its also probably half valid, but the issue here is from what I can tell he is not looking for peoples names. Thats your first hint.

thats because with the exception of Goran, which looks slightly similar to Gohan, those names all suck
