i'm guessing you have tried restarting the server? It seems that the plugin is finding your sourcebans entry in the database properly, but still thinks its using default SQL admins, which means it hasn't found sourceban's cvar yet.

For the record, your loyal database and sourcebans database(or sourcemod) can be completely separate, and the plugin should be capable of detecting your setup on its own. If you have not done so already restart your server and let me know how it goes. I run it with sourcebans, and have not encountered this error before

P.S. are there any other errors or message in the logs at all regarding loyalty?

It keeps showing me the error message, i already restarted the server a bunch of time...

I'm started to build my server couple days ago, i installed the KAC, DAF, rcon_locker, sourcebans, hlstasx:ce, Forlix anti-flood, SDKhooks, Socket, Sourcemod(obviously) and some misc plugins.

Everything was perfect, the error started when i copied the database configs into all brackets and i forgot to rename the database names... So i started the server, and the loyal was pointing to the sourcebans database, it did create the loyal table and shown that error about the missing table (sm_admins) in the sourcebans database. I fixed the databases.cfg as soon as i saw the error.

I don't know if there is anything damaged/recorded due to the server started pointing the loyal configs to the wrong database... seems after that it got stucked in the wrong database.

I still didn't use the sourcebans, if you could answer me that... I can use the sourcemod admin system (mysql based) at same time (together) with the sourcebans admin system? I didn't find any information about it, seems its a "noob question" but i couldn't let this chance pass away ^^

Let me know if i need clean some "cache" folder or cookies in mysql tables...

Thank you vm.

Thanks for pointing this out, i completely forgot that you can use sourcemod admins with sourcebans bans, i'm going to have to come up with a better way of auto detecting the setup then.

As for the error, either uninstall sourcebans or use sourcebans admins and tell me if the error persists until i work around this flaw

also, make sure to leave out any database entries your not using, and make sure your sm_admins tables and other sourcemod tables were properly generated (do you still need to do that? i think you do still need to generate them manually)

L 11/03/2010 - 12:04:07: [loyal.smx] Query failed(SQLErrorCheckCallback): Table 'steamfriends_sb.sm_admins' doesn't exist

While we use Sourcebans.... it looks to me the plugin thinks we use Sourcemod admins instead of Sourcebans? any idea?

Ratonofx, tcviper, download the attached version of the plugin, run it and check your logs again (not your error logs, your L<DATE> logs, and check for message from the loyalty plugin and post them here

I REALLY don't like the idea of plugins messing with my admins database... If this plugin added the ability to simply read the admins database and then have its own database or use clientprefs or something, I'd use it immediately. So, this is my feature request: Add a mode that simply READS the admins database, possibly makes a copy of the names/steam ids from it into another database for this plugin, and uses this other database for plugin related matters.
