K well I'm not too sure how this would exactly work yet, so do give your own input/ideas as well
I had an idea but its very vague on if it would actually work or how it would work.
The root of building a community would be by generating traffic to the game servers. Well what if you could somehow have the players in the server do it for you and in return reward them automatically with vip or something?
I thought of maybe having a web panel where users enter steam/profile ids of their friends and submit it to be entered into a database.
The database then understands that these friends are friends of this certain user.
When the user's friends join the server, he earns a point. If they play X hours he might also get a point for that each hour/minute/second, whatever it may be.
I can't think of any other way currently to do this, maybe you guys can come up with better ideas?
Also if BOB for example added John as his friend, John therefore cannot add BOB as his friend, otherwise they'd both be cheating the system so to speak. John would have to add new friends who haven't added him before.
Again, this is a thread to post your ideas and discuss this. I'm pretty sure this would benefit all.
