I tried counter-atributes.
Scout's item_sets attribute "max health +25" can negate at "max health -25".
but Sniper's item_sets attribute "The wearer cannot be killed by headshots."can't negate.
Maybe similarly Spy's tem_sets attribute "quiet unstealth" can't negate.

When I try to use this with the rocket launcher, it works fine.
But my renamed original rocket launcher does not assign custom attributes.

Is it possible to get my 'RAWKET LAWNCHAIR' to behave like my base rocket launcher?

When you rename an item, it takes the index of one the "customizable base items" located near the end of the item indexes in items_game.txt

Like a customized rocket launcher is index 205, not index 18 like usual.

I was messing with this today and noticed a bug that wasn't happening in any previous versions. The quality and levels fields get stuck on whatever they were set. No matter how many times you reload the config, unload the plugin; nothing works other than the person seeing the stats rejoins the server. Stats on the other hand would update with a reload of the config and class swap of said person who would own the weapon. I think this was caused in a very recent update.

It's always been there, and it's because clients cache item info.

ok. i am new at this and do not feel like sifting through 40 pages of stuff.

can someone post an example of a tf2items.weapons.txt that gives an example of a section that gives all hats a particle effect?

totally new at this.

I dont believe you can specify JUST hats, but ALL hats... its either a full wild card. or a specific item
