10 is another generic.

4 = Bill as well but it crashes

8 = old Bill with no icon but it crashes instantly

10 = Generic

Anyone have any ideas?

Just tried again, anything above 8 is definitely a Generic. 4 IS BILL with Bill's icon, he talks when you shoot him, but he causes the game to stutter and crash.

Edit 2:

Second test I loaded the L4D1 survivors with survivor set 1. I tried a character spawn and even a CSM and still crashed. I think we have something wrong with Bill somewhere.

Theres something totally wrong with the system altogether. I implented a hack on GetSurvivorSet(void) in left4downtown2 to force the game to the old or new Survivors, but theres issues over issues.

While the old Survivors all show up with voice and game models, the Icons and First Person models remain l4d2.

Yeah same thing happens if you force new survivors youll get the old survivor hands. (Talking about No mercy and The Sacrifice using the method you mentioned)

Something just seems off and I cant place what it is.....

there is one problem....
Zoey uses not her own animations but Rochelle's animations ..

Yeah I noticed that too. Zoey doesn't have her incap animation or healing animation.

Then again the other 3 don't have ANY incap animations which I found kinda shocking that they didn't implement. They just literally still plop to the ground once they are incapped.

So I guess once mi finishes the new player select menu the all 8 project will be complete right?

Not really....because I tried to be Coach in No Mercy and The Sacrifice....I became Francis with Coach's model instead,you know what I'am saying?

I bet it's the survivorset option in the mission file.
That's simple enough to fix, you just have to check the map.
