Is there any protection against this? If not karma-burning sprees would still be easy to initiate ...
then you need many e-mail account to, sounds as to much job for me

IP tracking is a bad idea. I'll revise the system later today so you need at least one Off-Topic post to use the karma system. That should do it.

If I see people abusing the karma system that way, every account of theirs will get -50,000 (and yes why on earth would you put all that work into it).

Apologies for downtime. There was a network configuration error which took me a long time to resolve.

Things should run smoothly now.

I was wondering why I woke up and almost nothing was replied to.

I also created a website called Rust Tools. It will calculate and tell you the raw amounts of resources needed to craft items.

You probably missunderstood what I wanted to say. Me personally I do not want to start this kind of karma abuse, I was talking about the possibility in general.

And no, you do not need a lot time to get 100 mailadresse. I can generate (and check) some thousands per second on my domain using a simple script (would take me some minutes to write). But I would like to see some kind of system as mentioned by Bailopan. But I think something like "You need to have posted at least 20 times to be able to lower or rise other peoples karma." would do the job ...

It would be hard to make a script posting 20 times without making it obvious that this posts were autogenerated ...
