    This is just a simple plugin that prints this to the chat when someone finishes loading: <name> (<steamid>) finished loading from IP <ip address>
    YAY A SCREENSHOT!!! The 'You are on team "" ' is one of my failed experiments with sourcemod.

    I'm too lazy to make a proper description right now, but all you need to do is put player_load_notify.smx into your plugins folder.
    I made this for Half-Life 2 Deathmatch, but it should work for any game. If not just let me know and I will try to fix it .

    Please post your thoughts on this! This is my first *released* plugin that I have made.

    This plugin has been tested and works in the following games:
    Code:
    Half-Life 2: Deathmatch
    It does NOT work in:
    Code:
    Alien Swarm
    Ideas for new version:
    Code:
    Fix pln_steamid and pln_ip
    Changelog:
    Code:
    1.3.1 - Edit by SilverShot
    1.3 - Added pln_steamid and pln_ip cvars. (But they don't work properly)
    1.2 - Added changelog and version cvar.
    1.1 - Added green colors to the chat.
    1.0 - First version.
    It is reccomended to download player_load_notify.sp. Version 1.3 has been posted for anyone who wants to try to fix pln_steamid and pln_ip. I would appreciate it if someone could do this .
    Attached Files
    File Type: sp Get Plugin or Get Source (player_load_notify.sp - 432 views - 1.4 KB)
    File Type: sp Get Plugin or Get Source (player_load_notify_1.3.sp - 396 views - 2.5 KB)

    When pln_steamid and pln_ip are both on it just shows this in chat:

    [ƒ๒]iloveportalz0r STEAM_0:1:25534829finished loading 192.168.1.101

    The text from the thing doesnt show (ip_show = (" from IP %s", ip);)

    Im not very good with string manipulation. I guess what youre trying to do should work. What is the problem youre having? I dont quite understand what youre issue is.

    Fyi, there are multiple plugins that already exist that do stuff like this, you might check those out. Also, that could be a reason it might not get approved, fyi.

    Couple suggestions:

    - Makes no difference but "clyent" is not a word.
    - Showing peoples IP addresses is a very BAD idea..
    - Dont use GetClientName. Use %N, client.
    -
    Code:
    if(StrContains(iname, "unnamed", false) != -1)
        {
            ClientCommand(clyent, "name PwneD by SourceMod");
        }
    Its your plugin but whats the point of renaming people to that? Instead of a bunch of unnamed people, now you have a bunch of "PwneD by SourceMod" people. Still an anonymous name...

    I don't know how to do this but what if it randomly selected a name from a text file of several different ones?

    I really don't know. You'd have to test it.

    Nope. It doesn't. It scrambles up with the default connect messages with the steam ID scrambled up with their name
