Are there any plugins that alter survivorbot behavior? In particular:

When teammate is incapped, currently bots drop everything and charge in to help them up. They don't care if you're surrounded by a horde or a Tank is in the way.

They should check for danger and if there is a Tank or horde close by, they should continue fighting until the threat is gone or far away.


When a player is at 60 health, a bot uses his Med kit, often wasting it.

They should wait until someone is bleeding or the entire team is in yellow or below before wasting a health kit. They should also scavenge additional health kits because there 1 limit is no longer required with them conserving healthkits more.

Bots often use pills and adrenline when at near full health.

They should wait until they are below 50 because THIS is when movement is effected. This also allows them to get the full 50 health from pills.

you can adjust bot behavior with cvars - but your unlikely to completely remove the run to teammate and revive in the middle of a horde.

i wish there was a convar for healthpack and pill usage, but there isnt.. there is one for temp health - but only for considering if using a pack is worthwhile (eg: bots dont heal you if your temp health is > 40 on my server).

thanks anyway.

You think it would be an easy fix for Valve?

for valve.. sure
will they? havent in 1.5 years yet.

took em this long just to even consider that the bots are retarded and need some tweaking (several of the recent updates adjusted their behaviour)
