It is because the plugin uses MOVETYPE_FOLLOW entities, and when you are setting rendering or other properties to a player the player that is not transmited becomes visible. And after roundstart the player is reseted. The rendering can make him diasppear. So basically is make the plugin not use follow entities or when setting rendering on the player to search the entities that follow the player and set the rendering on to them.
