Valve is specifically not allowing us to open/use a clients overlay browser. They have done every step so we cant.

So I've been trying to run this on my LAN TF2 server. The web interface works to upload tracks, and the plugin can connect to it and list all the tracks in game without any issues. However, when I try to play a song nothing comes out and I get these two items logged in my SourceMod errors:
Quote:
L 06/20/2010 - 19:45:59: [jukebox.smx] Failed to clear streams database. Error: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 1

I'm guessing this is something specific to my setup as I have searched the whole thread and found nothing similar. I run both SRCDS and the web interface on the same machine. It is running Arch Linux 64 with the latest LAMP package for it installed.

Any suggestions where to start to get it functioning? I'm guessing I probably have to modify the MYSQL queries, but have no clue where they lie or what to look for. I've already tried the obvious of restarting the MYSQL server, the plugin, and the game server. I have the latest version of the plugin and web interface (v0.5.4.2).

I have not been able to get the query.php from post 596 mentioned above to work in-game. Neither have I been able to get the <audio> tag to work in-game. It does work when I browse the music using chrome, but not firefox or internet exploder

We use an HTML MOTD page that has sound in it that used to use the <bgsound> tag that no longer works. I have tried changing it to <audio>, which still doesn't work in game. However, the <audio> tag does work when using chrome to view the page.

As I said before, only a few browsers support mp3 using audio. Valves isnt one of them. I think ogg or some other file type works with most. naris, go to sound managers site and upload all of the swf files from that folder, not the zip and all of the js files in the script folder. Without the debug files it will not work for some reason.

Firefox as your default browser works. Though you need to have windows media player for firefox installed, located at the bottom of this page.

This error is generated as part of Jukebox's effort to initialize itself. Since initializing is repeatedly failing it can't play. Check to make sure "jb_db_streams" and "jb_db_playlists" are properly defined.

Using your workarounds, it is working great in game, However in firefox I get this error: I have the Windows media plugin installed.
