I see the cvar of sv_spshellthick for controlling the shell thickness during spawn protection. Is there a cvar available for controlling the shell thickness of amx_glow/amx_glow2?

That is a good observation/suggestion, as it is currently unavailable. I won't be incorporating it any time soon either. Although their is currently an update/re-write in the pre-production stage right now. More information can be found at the scripting section of the SuperCentral forums.
