Reply With Quote #1

Hello everyone, jumping into the topic issue.. I am running a Gmod server with a game mode called Trouble in Terrorist Town which needs normal maps to play well. I am using CS:S maps to handle this, however players are able to run through just about every prop (barrels, boxes, bookshelves, crates, etc.) which makes gameplay a bit unfair at times when someone hides in a box.

My question is, is there an easy way to either:
A. Fix all props to not be able to be ran through?
B. Remove all props, easily, for all the default CS:S maps?
C. Fix players collision group to not be able to run through props?

For A and C, I figure adjusting players specifically would probably be easier, changing their collision group, but I'm not sure, nor do I see any info, regarding what groups are what for any mods, and finding info on GMod seems to be fairly impossible.

For B I was thinking of using Stripper:Source, but to fix all the props that you can run through, seems it would take a lot of trial and error and debugging that I'm kind of not interested in doing, so looking for a quick method to get this resolved so these maps are playable as they normally should be able to.(I put this in the script section since I figured it could turn a more directly code related topic.)

Never mind this is now fixed, apparently it is a bug with Garrysmod not loading other game content even though it says it was mounted properly.
