Hey Pimpin'. Good job and thanks for working on this mod. Some of us have been waiting a long time for someone to take the initiative to make this work.

(I didn't see an appropriate forum for general comments so feel free to move this post if needed).

I have a small 10-man test server up with XP saving at 63.135.225.77. If this becomes more popular, I can increase it to a 40-man.

Let me know if I can be of any assistance with helping this mod progress.

Here are a few issues I noticed. Maybe I can be of some help by identifying these issues:

1. This is an error on server startup:

couldn't exec sourcemod/superhero.cfg

2. While the server(linux) runs am getting a lot of these errors:

L 07/27/2007 - 1610: [SM] Debug mode is not enabled for "SHSource.smx"
L 07/27/2007 - 1610: [SM] To enable debug mode, edit plugin_settings.cfg, or type: sm plugins debug 8 on
L 07/27/2007 - 1611: World triggered "Round_Start"
L 07/27/2007 - 1611: [SM] Native "SHVectorAt_Cell" reported: **ERROR** SHVectorAt_Cell: Invalid position for vector passed.

3. The choose hero menu displays every round start. You have to hit 0 to make it go away.

4. I did not see a command to show XP. I do see that it shows it on round-start though.

I was also wondering where the config is to change hero levels? Or are the levels coded into each hero? I would like to modify this because the default seems to be Gambit and Invisible woman both at level 0.

Do you happen to add bots on startup?

Also, cstrike/cfg/sourcemod/superhero.cfg is where you should change levels. It should be gambit_level and inviswoman_level, check the threads.

3. That will stop happening when we get 20 usable heroes.

4. showxp will display your XP

And the prefix of the other cvars usually (should) match the heroes shortname. The shortname is used to prefix the level cvar.

Quote:
invisiwoman_minalpha
See how it is prefixed with invisiwoman?
So the cvar to change the level is: invisiwoman_level
That should work for just about any hero.

So just create a superhero.cfg in cfg/sourcemod and add the level cvars to it

Thanks for the tips. gambit_level does not appear to be a cvar, but the other three heroes have them.

Yes, I did have bots at startup but I removed them to see if I still got the errors. The errors are still present with no players or bots on the server:

I turned on debug mode with "sm plugins debug 8 on.

L 07/28/2007 - 15:179: [SM] Displaying call stack trace:
L 07/28/2007 - 15:179: [SM] [0] Line 92, SHSource/playertracking.inc::GetHasHero()
L 07/28/2007 - 15:179: [SM] [1] Line 140, SHSource/playertracking.inc::HeroChecker()
L 07/28/2007 - 15:17:41: [SM] Native "SHVectorAt_Cell" reported: **ERROR** SHVectorAt_Cell: Invalid position for vector passed.

These errors go by about every second. Any ideas?

Update on the errors:

I noticed that the errors above go away after manually changing the map. So apparently they only happen on on the first map when a server is started. Maybe this provides a clue to the problem?

If you have bots on server.cfg, even if kicked, there will be problems.
