Blockmaker Custom Blocks Fixin Guide'

Hello there!

I'ave seen a lot of people asking how to get custom skins to blockmaker, (im one of them, lol xD) now i'ave found out how to fix it! Let's see if i can help you out :-P

Step 1: Download Jed's Half-Life Model Viewer ( JHLMV )

Download it HERE

When you'ave downloaded the program, install it.

Step 2: Open your paint program (Paint.net, Gimp, Adobe Photoshop) it can be any cind of.

When you'ave opened that, make "New" and size have to be 512*512 or 64*64 - OR ELSE IT WONT WORK. Now paint/make your block.

When you're done with painting save it as .bmp and 8 bit, this is also important, it wont work if you arent doing like that...

Step 3: Find a normal block (You have to have downloaded the normal blocks first, or thats the easyst way..):

D:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\account-name\counter-strike\cstrike\models\blockmaker\bm_block_bho p.mdl

Open the "bm_block_bhop.mdl" file, it will open in "JHLMV". Now press the button called "Textures". Your block will now be like a square. If you look below the menu button called "Model Display" you'll see some text:

"Texture (size XXX*XXX or XX*XX)
512 512 64 64

Press at the button "Import Texture" (it'll be found if you're looking at the right part of "program"). Find your .bmp file you made before. When you'ave found it press "Open" and that will be the skin for your block.

LOOK HERE:
If your .bmp file was 512*512 you'll have to have a block which normal texture size is 512*512 (You could see that under the button "Model Display"). And if your .bmp files was 64*64 then your blocks normal texture size have to be 64*64.

When your done, then in the "Menu Line" in the top press file, and "Save model as" and type your name and choose your location where you'll save your new block.

Step 4:
Open your FTP directory or your Dedicated Server folder.

Dedicated server: D:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\yourname\dedicated server\cstrike\models\blockmaker\

FTP: cs\severip\cstrike\models\blockmaker\

I GUESS THAT YOU HAVE INSTALLED BLOCKMAKER (OR ELSE YOU HAVE TO)

Now in the folder "Models" you can make your own folder called what ever you want and put your blockmaker models in there.

Step 5: When you have putted all off your blocks into the folder you just made then go to the path:

For Dedicated Server: D:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\yourname\dedicated server\cstrike\addons\amxmodx\configs\

For Bought servers: cs/ip/cstrike/addons/amxmodx/configs/

For both, search for a file called blockmaker_models.ini. When you have found it, open it. Now you see something like:

PLATFORM
BHOP
DAMAGE
HEALER
NOFALLDAMAGE
ICE
TRAMPOLINE
SPEEDBOOST
INVINCIBILITY
STEALTH
DEATH
NUKE
CAMOUFLAGE
LOWGRAVITY
FIRE
SLAP
RANDOM
HONEY
BARRIER_CT
BARRIER_T
BOOTSOFSPEED
GLASS
BHOP_NOSLOW
AUTO_BHOP

Now you have to write the path to the block you have made. etc:

PLATFORM /models/blockmaker/blockmaker_rulez/re_block_platform.mdl
BHOP /models/blockmaker/blockmaker_rulez/re_block_bhop2.mdl

Do like that until you have filled out the missing places. SAVE the file, and give your server a restart/open it.
