What is up with the penalty? I set it to the first 4 medkits are free from mentality, but when we use the 5th medkit we lose 50% of our points? wtf, whever happened to 90, 80, 70, 60? Isn't...

l4d_stats_medkitpenaltyfree "5"

Suppose to mean you can use 4 medkits and then we start counting down your percent? starting with 90 percent? Why on earth does it start with 50%? Might as well forget about penalty free then, cause its useless.

It's a bug: Nice find. I'll fix it to the next release.

Thanks muukis for the help much appreciated. I upgraded to this version and all working properly.

Couple more questions as i want to add another server. I have this running on a rented server and everything is fine.
I want to run this on a instance of srcds from my home computer. And connect to the same DB as the rented server connects to. Is that possible? I added the info to databases.cfg and im getting access denied. I also added host ip's to allow connect and still getting access denied.
Tried using the below hosts in databases.cfg
localhost
127.0.0.1
192.168.0.1
my external ip and % wildcard on all of them. Still getting access denied.

In a nutshell how would one set this up using an instance of srcds on their home computer and integrate it with the existing DB and website Stats Page

Thanks again for all your hard work on this plugin..

You can use one web stats page and a db to serve multiple game servers. I'm sorry but I am not an expert on MySQL.

I didn't quite understand the situation you have there... but...

Your second game server is in some other network IP than the db server. You have to make sure the db server can accept connections from the some other network IP (may require editing of firewall configurations.) Then you need to add a new user to your db server, which has full access rights for the Player Stats db, to be accessible from the some other network IP. Then you just edit the second game server databases.cfg so that the IP of Player Stats is the db servers IP and the login is the one you created for your some other network IP.

Thanks, that did it All I had to do was create another user for the DB. And set up the databases.cfg correctly.

Hi,

I dont know if this is a local problem on my mashine but it seems like the stats program doesn't work for Hard Rain => c4m2_sugarmill_a in Realism mod. We have been playing Hard Rain c4m2_sugarmill_a for several hours but nothiing has been registrated. No Playtime, points,kills or restarts.

Do you have something that might relate to this problem in your logs? I don't have anything on my test site in that campaign also, but I don't think it's been played on my server yet.

Looking at Harms stats, it seems to be operational though. I have to do some testing with the issue.

Hi.

I have some suggestion for todo list.
Can you, please, separate logic from the text strings.

At this point the localization/translation of the stats is a real pain requires even some source code modification. For example some indirection in the server or player stats like this:

somewere in the common.php

$trans_kills = array();
$trans_kills['Common Infected'] = "Native language term";
...

in the template:
...
=$trans_kills[ $type ]
...

and so on...

Found the problem. It was a local one. I mixed up .sp and .smx ( in the wrong folder...stupid of me )
