Insurgency Guns Menu

Description:


Adds a !guns command to bring up a guns menu based on the players team. No explosives or smoke grenades! It uses the give command, since Insurgency dont supports any other methods.

Commands:
  • sm_guns - console
  • !guns - chat
Notes:

This plugin is NOT recommended for tactical Insurgency servers, because it could add unbalance to the weapon classes.

Requirements:

SourceMod
Insurgency: Modern Infantry Combat
Insurgency Chat

Install Usage:

ins_guns.smx goes to addons/sourcemod/plugins
ins_guns.sp to addons/sourcemod/scripting

Bugs:

Nothing at the moment.

Special Thanks:

psychonic @ #hlxce, he helped me to keep the correct team index, because its dynamic in Insurgency depend on which map is running.

quick question, is the rpg already loaded? if not, is it possible to do that but put a timer on it.

There is no RPG in the menu?! And no, its not posible to load the RPG if there where one, due the lack of giveammo support by the mod, same for the M203.

Looks good & fun ;)

i have one request.... Sometime, i want to organize some night only with pistol guns & HE/smoke grenades. Is it possible to create (or already exist) a plugin for this?

I think you could restrict weapons with sourcemod already as is? I could be wrong.

Negative, you cant do that with SM and Insurgency afaik. Only way is to decrypt the *.ctx files in /insurgency/scripts/pclasses with Vice keys & vice key cracker and remove all weapons exception the pistol guns & HE/smoke grenades, since the weapon slots are dynamic in this mod.
