hello, i just recently purchased l4d and l4d2. I installed both games, but when i try to launch either game, they crash to my desktop with no error message on screen. however, i did notice in C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\left 4 dead (2), MDMP crash files are created on each startup. the games doesnt get passed the "preparing to launch.." box. sometimes, i get a message saying the game wasnt able to sync with the steam cloud and something about signing on from multiple computers. i have never been able to successfully launch or play the game and have only installed on ONE computer. i tried reinstalling steam and the game, but didnt have any luck. i was wondering if anyone has experienced this before and what you did to fix the problem. all help is welcome and appreciated.
