Try to upgrade both, MM:S and SM, to minimize this crash puzzle.

Download latest stable release (make sure you download right OS Linux or Windows or ... Mac):
- Build 1144 http://www.metamodsource.net/downloa...?branch=stable
- Build 6502 https://www.sourcemod.net/downloads.php?branch=stable

Unpack those packs somewhere your computer, don't upload yet into your server.


(At least, in Windows OS) you need shutdown your SRCDS before you upgrade your MM:S or SM files,
otherwise some files cannot overwritten because those are in use by SRCDS program.

Do this:
- Find addons/metamod.vdf file, delete or move file out from addons/ folder.
- Shutdown your SRCDS or reboot.

At this point, even if you can't keep your SRCDS shutdown and it will startup again, MM:S and SM would not load anymore.
You can check by typing in server console commands meta and sm (Unknown command " ")

Upgrade Metamod:Source:
- Simply, move addons folder into your SRCDS csgo folder (Counter-Strike: Global Offensive)

Upgrade SourceMod:
- Before you upload, look your new, unpacked SM files, in your computer.
Find these folders and delete

addons\sourcemod\configs\
cfg\

Now you will not loose your current configurations in your server (admins, etc. etc.)
- Upload your new SM addons folder into your SRCDS csgo folder

Start or reboot your server.
When server is up, wait couple minutes. SM is updating new gamedata files, if there is.
Reboot server again.

Does server still crash ?

If it does:
Try again, remove metamod.vdf file out from addons folder, reboot server. So you run SRCDS without MM:S SM

Does your server still crash without mods ?
