Regarding previous posts, I'm using l4dtoolz and have no problem with lobbies.
I can start the server by making a lobby of 4 people (or 8 for versus) like anybody does, and then everybody (up to 8 players ofc, I wish it was a bit more) can join using his Steam group servers list,
or through favourite servers, or through IP.

To be honest I don't even figure the "lobby reservation issue", which must be important since we have all these addons...
but, like you guys want to launch a campaign with 8 or 10, let's say 16 players, and... so you divide players in lobbies of 4? Lobbies are game made and not server made, right? And you would like the 2d, 3d and 4th lobby to be able to join the same server? This is how to avoid lobby reservation bug?
Without addon, they will not see the server in their Steam group servers list, but let's say they do, if they are more than the remaining slots, one of them will not be able to join and I mean... there will always be a pb somewhere.
So lobby must start a game, I don't see why people would want other lobbies to be able to join a session. Probably their settings would not even fit current gamemode and they would have to change their minds like "Ok, finally, the server is already up on a survival, so let's play survival instead" etc...
The most important is that they can join through favourites and Steam groups servers list, IMO.

EDIT: seems important for MORE THAN 8 players servers, so good job anyway!
