Hello guys,
I am here requesting some help because I have an issue whenever I try to compile my .qc file with more than 15 textures to a .mdl file
e.g. :
Quote:
$texturegroup skinfamilies
{
{ "originalskin.bmp"}
{ "skin2.bmp"}
{ "skin3.bmp"}
{ "skin4.bmp"}
{ "skin5.bmp"}
{ "skin6.bmp"}
{ "skin7.bmp"}
{ "skin8.bmp"}
{ "skin9.bmp"}
{ "skin10.bmp"}
{ "skin11.bmp"}
{ "skin12.bmp"}
{ "skin13.bmp"}
{ "skin14.bmp"}
{ "skin15.bmp"}
{ "skin16.bmp"}
}

won't compile and will make MilkShape3D crashes.
I can't understand why.
Is there some sort of limitation of skins hl1 models can support?
Found nothing about it except that there is a limitation of 32 skin materials when using studiomdl (for Source) :
Quote:
Where
$texturegroup "<name>" { { "<skin_0>" } { "<skin_1>" } } - <name> is the name of the texturegroup. Even though a name string is required for studiomdl to compile it is not stored within the binary.
- <skin_0> is the name of the default Material (VMT) file.
- <skin_1> is the name of the alternative Material (VMT) file.
- Allows up to a maximum of 32 alternate material sets. Limit hard coded by studiomdl.
$texturegroup

but nothing for hl1...
or Maybe the problem comes from MilkShape 3D? Is there another way to compile my .qc file?
