Is it possible to configure CSDM to enable the preset random spawns (with spawn protection) at round start but disable player respawn? I would essentially like to have a standard non-deathmatch gameplay but with the spawn protected random CSDM spawnpoints.

I think - no...
CSDM wasn't designed to work only at round start. It has been designed to allow You still be playing just after You get killed.

Could a cvar be added to enable that function or is it coded in the CSDM module? If in the module, could it be updated? I run a Deathmatch server already and love this plugin. But I would like to use features of it on another server in a different gameplay style. I think having the option of turning off the respawn would greatly enhance the versatility of the plugins use.

I found this: http://forums.alliedmods.net/showthr...ht=amx_respawn

I tried it but it didn't work.

During my searches I found a few otheres who were looking to somehow block the respawn feature of this plugin. Thanks for your help.

I think no - again...

At round start the players are spawned by game engine - CSDM doesn't control that. It controls the position of respawn only in the situation when the player gets killed and is respawned by CSDM.
