There is way of giving the effect of the image to an entity?

Really quick. Since that's ent moving. You can render the entity to give it that look.

From engine:
Code:
     set_rendering ( index, fx=kRenderFxNone, r=255,g=255,b=255, render=kRenderNormal,amount=16 )
For that green transparent look, this would be used
Code:
set_rendering (ent,kRenderFxNone,0,200,0,kRenderTransTexture,16 )
