Hi!

I have been searching for something like this, but couldnt find it. On many servers people want to know which commands do this and that, and you have to tell them 1000 times how to bind to a certain menu or command.

It would be good with a plugin which checks the ID (steam), compare it to a file of visitors and if it is the first time of his/hers visit. If its the first time you can do a number of things, but i would like this function in particular:

1. A greeting (stored in a cfg file or something)
Hello and welcome [player] on your first visit to xxx server.

2. A bind request
All player commands on this server is stored in 'mainmenu', would you like the server to bind 'mainmenu' to F12 for you? [y/n]

If its not the first visit you could remind the player on the menu and the bind.

This would be really useful imo. I hope you can guide me in the right direction.

Ive learned that this just simply never works, so i just have a message everytime after 35 seconds they join it will say stuff, and it stays there for a long ass time and noone cares to read it. I once shoved, AIM ME FOR HOW TO GET ADMIN ON THE SERVER, figures noone replys.

Maybe you are right, people just slap the keyboard to go and get some frags as soon as possible. But this is a y/n prompt which has to be answered before it disappears, you have to do an active choice.
