How is it hard to find CS:GO plugins, just change the search filter to the cs:go game.

Because there are a lot of plugins that work on all games, CS:GO included. And a lot of plugins that didn't initially support CS:GO have been updated to work on it... there have only been a handful of breaking changes in CS:GO, and one of those changes wasn't even in the game when it launched (the UserMessages change).

It's also a slippery slope... why shouldn't TF2 have its own forum? Why shouldn't CS:S have its own forum? Why shouldn't L4D and L4D2 have their own forum?

Edit:

Also, you should never ask "Why shouldn't we do [thing that requires extra work]?" but instead justify why you should. I'm sure there is some business phrase for this, but I don't remember what it is.

No, it would break Plugin search. That also doesn't address what happens with plugins that work on more than one game.

Heck, one of my plugins works on L4D, L4D2, TF2, and CS:GO and only those 4... and for the most part, the TF2 and CS:GO code is more similar than the L4D and L4D2 code since the CS:GO voting system is directly based on the version they used in TF2.

That and it includes a failsafe in case Valve converts TF2's UserMessages to be like CS:GO's UserMessages.

But Plugin Search Doesn't Cover All the Plugins there are on the Forum

I understand that there is plugins that work on more then one game but having them scattered on 1 forum doesn't help

Plugin Search covers the Approved Plugins and New Plugins boards.

http://www.sourcemod.net/plugins.php
Use keywords when searching plugins and you may be able to find them.

Sub forums for each game is a waste, it just adds to confusion.
