Alright, I've been trying to installs sourcebans these few days. It's not working, and here's what happens, and information.
- As of right now, I am hosting with unidoxhosting.com using their professional pack, as I'm using it for a forum also. The propack includes the following:

Spoiler
Here is my database:
Spoiler

Here is the error I get in my sourcebans log: "[sourcebans.smx] Database failure: [2003]: Can't connect to MySQL server on '184.154.10.226' (110). See FAQ: http://www.sourcebans.net/node/20"

The weird thing is, I can kick people via web sourcebans. When I ban people, it kicks them saying they are banned, but they can rejoin, even though they are on the ban list. When I enter admins in sourcebans, it doesn't overwrite admin.cfg either. When I enter Steam ID's + Permissions manually in sourcemod admin.cfg, admin works, but the ban won't go on the web server. I know it connects just fine, but it keeps saying it doesn't. Before you guys start giving tips.

- Already put it in access hosts.
- Database information is correct, checked about 1 million times.
- I am hosting from gameservers.com

Respond ASAP, community website: inFinixGaming.org, or inFinixGaming.org/bans.

There's two think that drop off the top of my head.

A. Is the ports open on the webhost? Some webhosts have a tenancy to have all the ports blocked for security purposes which is fine but you need to contact them and ask them to unblock srcds ports.

B. If MySQL is setup on the machine itself then use "localhost" in the config instead or "127.0.0.1".

Right off the dome.

Opening support ticket to question #1.

I have 2 differents host for gameservers/webhosting, so it wouldn't be localhost.

For the record, that (110) means this:

Code:
rbemrose@www:~$ perror 110
OS error code 110: Connection timed out
I'd double check that the database server is using port 3306. For that matter, they may have the database server restricted to only listen for connections from localhost (this is common for web hosting packages); you may need to ask their tech support about that.

Go to your cPanel, and look for Remote MySQL, then add the IP for the host, like so:

Also, in case you still need it:

Port: 3306
Protocol: TCP
Reason: MySQL
