What the hell are we gonna do?

If you haven't heard/seen already, Valve has removed the Web MOTD ENTIRELY with the new Panorama Update coming out by the end of the month.

We need to find an alternative. Without the MOTD the following won't work:

• Advertising for Profit (motdgd.com or VPP)
• In-Game Radio (Like Hive365)
• Donation Systems requiring the MOTD Window
• ANYTHING involving MOTD Web Window's

MOTDGD.COM Suggests that:

If you want to help get this matter resolved as soon as possible then we'd suggest contacting Valve / the CSGO team and reminding them that the MOTD is non-functional in Panorama. Email CSGOTeamFeedback [at] valvesoftware.com and include #PanoramaUI in your subject line.

Let me know what you all think, i may consider closing my network just because of this.

I'm an owner and I don't care about motd.
You should host servers for fun, not for business.

There are many bugs in panorama, just wait and valve will fix that.

Im leaning towards being fine with MOTD gone. Sure im gonna miss having stats, donation and other info there, but i also dont like all the crappy servers that are there just to show ads.

I agree. The same people who don't know you can check those same stats in a browser are the people who don't even know community servers exist in the first place.

Having ADS on your servers is nothing bad. No one forces those players to play on these servers. We should get a reddit-upvote bot and make a post in https://www.reddit.com/r/GlobalOffensive/
