Hey guys, I was thinking about buying a book on PHP.

I then realized, after fooling around with "hello world" programs on C++, that I may just use C++ as much, if not more, than PHP.

So, do you think I should pursue C++ or PHP first? (Please realize I like to learn - meaning I'd eventually learn both)

What book do you think I should get on it?

Please - don't say "neither" because of your opinions on books, I have limited time I can spend on the computer, along with many study halls in school. Books would be more convient in my case, trust me.

C++ does also seem harder, while PHP could possibly be learned online ;P

Both are easy to learn online. I'd start with PHP though since it's a lower difficulty and you can build up to C++.

On the other hand, learning C++ makes other languages cake.

MIXED MESSAGES O NOES!

That all depends on what you are going to be doing, PHP is web based programming. Where C++ is compiled into programs, dlls, etc.

So depending on what you will be able to use more at this time is my suggestion as to what you should learn first. (As long as you don't try to learn ASP first you're ok)
