I was in Hurricane Iniki on sept 11 1992 on Kauai, lost almost everything, neighbor got killed, 200 mph gusts, no electricity for 3 months after. I moved to Maui after that because Maui never gets a direct hit. Now my theory is gonna be tested.

I watched that on the news, the projected path goes to the side of Maui but they also said its very possible Maui may take a direct hit. Sorry you have to deal with this issue and best of luck.
