Metamod Version Number: 1.6.1
Game: Team Fortress 2
Server OS: Windows
Server Name: [EoE] TF2 Stock and Customs!
Server IP: 67.228.13.127:27015
Plugin Load Type: Have run the plugin with both the .vdf and gameinfo.txt method (seperatly, of course)
Problem:

Server constantly crashes with the plugin installed. The crash is never instantaneos. As the server nears end map time, it crashes. Included are the contents of a sourcemod log file. I don't know if the time stamps about map changes represent anything significant.

Code:
L 05/27/2008 - 18:37:10: SourceMod log file session started (file "L20080527.log") (Version "1.0.1.2166")
L 05/27/2008 - 18:37:10: -------- Mapchange to cp_dustbowl --------
L 05/27/2008 - 18:39:55: SourceMod log file session started (file "L20080527.log") (Version "1.0.1.2166")
L 05/27/2008 - 18:39:55: -------- Mapchange to cp_dustbowl --------
L 05/27/2008 - 18:48:40: SourceMod log file session started (file "L20080527.log") (Version "1.0.1.2166")
L 05/27/2008 - 18:48:40: -------- Mapchange to cp_dustbowl --------
L 05/27/2008 - 18:59:00: SourceMod log file session started (file "L20080527.log") (Version "1.0.1.2166")
L 05/27/2008 - 18:59:00: -------- Mapchange to cp_dustbowl --------
L 05/27/2008 - 19:11:10: SourceMod log file session started (file "L20080527.log") (Version "1.0.1.2166")
L 05/27/2008 - 19:11:10: -------- Mapchange to cp_dustbowl --------
L 05/27/2008 - 20:35:49: SourceMod log file session started (file "L20080527.log") (Version "1.0.1.2166")
L 05/27/2008 - 20:35:49: -------- Mapchange to ctf_2fort --------
The server was set to start on cp_dustbowl, and then ctf_2fort the next map. It seems that it crashes whenever it would change to the next map. I'm unsure though.

The following is my connection info as recorded by HLSW. The little black ticks at the bottom represent 15 second intervals.

The Following are with MetaMod Source Installed. Metamod was run via .vdf for these pics.

The following is when the server crashed, follwed up by me removing metamod Source.

You get the idea. The server seemed to be more stable without Metamod Source installed. Why, I have no idea. All of this was done with a server that was up to date via steam updater.

I'm rather confused about something here.

The output of 'meta list' posted above says no plugins are loaded. But in the original post, it looks like SourceMod is running according to what's printed in the logs there. The mdmp files seem to indicate that Mani Admin Mod is running as a Metamod:Source plugin and SourceMod is not running at all.

Is there a confusion in the difference between Metamod:Source and SourceMod?

Like I said, Those mdmp files seem old. The log I posted above was when I was trying to run sourcemod, but the server kept crashing. When I did the test with the connection info, I only had metamod installed.

At one point in time, The server has either run, Mani Mod, Metamod, or Metamod and Sourcemod.

The server crashes with any of them installed. I'm being preferential to Sourcemod atm, and would like to get it up and running on the server. However, Sourcemod needs Metamod, So first I'd like to get Metamod up and running.

I'm sorry for the confusion that has happened. I'd like to see what you guys come up with, before I push my clan leaders for a fresh install of TF2.

From the mdmps you have provided, it looks like Mani may be the cause. It seems to be crashing from someone doing a 'menuselect 1' command. Since Metamod itself does not provide any sort of menus, it seems likely for it to be Mani.

My guess is that the gametypes.txt file wasn't up to date. I say that because it looks like the gametypes.txt linked from the main page isn't up to date. Instead there seems to be an updated one only on this forum post: http://www.mani-admin-plugin.com/ind...&topic=12989.0

As for SourceMod: If it is still continuing to crash for you, I'd really like to see mdmp(s) where SourceMod is actually loaded. If you have any for that, please file a bug report here. You can login there using your forum account.
