[RESOLVED] Custom weapon skins

I was wondering how I would be able to install gun skins on my gungame server. I have seen this on a gungame server before and wanted to know the necessary steps needed to do this. Also if you would provide me with links.

I think that was for installing skins into your cstrike folder, I wanted to install them into my server ftp to work in gungame.

Hello,

yeah it is the same way just another folders.

On Linux, if you installed your cstrike in:

/home/hlds/

your folders for maps and other things ecetera are located in:

/home/hlds/cstrike/

I hope you know what i mean, the folders are the same put the files in the correct folder on your Linux Server.

Try to tell us more information what you just do now and what does not run ;-) more information can help us to correctly help you.
And tell us you Linux Server folders see above what i mean for your Dedicated Server install

A cstrike folder in my servers ftp? Are you talking about a server hosted directly from my computer?

Sorry i think i don't understand you. My Questions to understand you better ;-)

1) Where is your FTP that you mean ? Is it on your Computer or on an Hosted Server ?

2) Who's the Folder Name's of your server installation ?

3) What Server did you installed ? Mean Dedicated or Lan Version

4) What for OS did you use ? Mean Windows or Linux

And now i say it again:

Please give us more informations of your Steps that you have do
to install Skins or whatever you try to do :-)

Sorry about that,

This is a server hosted by nuclearfallout.

I am accessing the FTP through My Network Places with a Windows XP OS.

I am wondering how I install custom gun skins which I downloaded from fpsbanana onto my server using FTP. I have 4 different gun skins I would like to install. Also if at all possible, please explain how to install custom player models onto my server FTP.

Okay I have figured this out. I will leave you with a short explanation and will come back in a bit once I have perfected this and retell with detail if no one else does before me.

First you must download the skins and go to your models folder in your FTP. You then must script a plugin which will act as a directory and will extract the skins to the downloaders cstrike/models folder. Like I said I will leave you with a brief description and will return with more vivid details soon. If anyone cares to add on to what I said in detail please do. For now, I leave you with little knowledge on how to do this.
