Hello. I'm looking either for an already existing plugin, someone who can make it, or a tutorial on how I can make it myself. The idea of the plugin is pretty simple: it should display a custom HUD icon above the primary weapon icon if sb_melee_approach_victim is set to 1, and either hide or blur it out if it's set to 0.

I play the game with sb_max_team_melee_weapons set to 6 and sb_melee_approach_victim set to 1 so the bot Survivors can pick up melee weapons and use them more effectively, but sometimes they will choose to chase after infected with their melee weapon instead of going to the safe room/rescue vehicle, forcing me to set sb_melee_approach_victim to 0 through console. I've put a code into my sourcemod.cfg that lets me toggle that cvar in one click, but I need something to tell me what the cvar's current status is. And I think using a custom hud icon would be the coolest way to do it.

You can do that with sprites, similar to what is done when u get vomit, but I don't know a simple sample on L4D2 to link for you.

Some custom maps do that, they add an image in the screen of the client, is pretty the same.
