Yes though it's not something we suggest.

However, don't you mean AMXModX and AdminMod? Same thing applies.

i tried it.. dont do it.. you just end up tangled up in a mess.. or maybe its just me. But i had to delete adminmod and downloaded amxmodx.

It's posssible, I have seen it done on servers. You must of done something wrong.
