How to update to 1.2.5 ? Should I update or should I wait for stable version?

Up to you, it mostly has quality of life fixes. Just check the SQL file for changes to the SQL database I guess. I'm not gonna give proper documentation until 2.0 release since I'm gonna be changing a lot of stuff with it so waste of time at the moment.

Can I only reupload the files and upload the new sql?
Its urgent to not loose the points and inventory.

Make the changes manually then via PHPMyAdmin. There's a conversion script being worked on for 2.0 which should address this issue.
