Would any of the sourcemod maintainers be open to allowing the refresh of gamedata without restarting the server?
I am not sure why it needs to be cached. I have run into the situation many times where gamedata became outdated but it did not crash the server. But people are still playing in the server and restarting it would probably kill the server for the rest of the day.
It would probably be easiest to just publicly expose CGameConfig::Reparse.
