Hello i've had a problem since few months
Since i've moved to steampipe everytime i start my servers there's a chance that they will lag as hell.

According to stats command FPS stays maximally at 10-20 and CPU is 90-102
After few mins lag worns off and server goes back to normal again.

Image:

I've noticed that lags usually stop after message Received XXXXX X bytes item schema version...

Help would be really great
- Thanks

The server is still starting up at that point, the item schema update is one of the last things in the startup process. It should be like ~30 seconds though, not several minutes.

I might try to use hosts file to block traffic from media.steampowered.com to stop schema from updaitng (It worked for modifying items_game.txt without overwrite)
But are there going to be any other problems from blocking it?
