Is the same wad file on your computer in the correct directory?

make a .res file for that map, the problem is that the client didn't download the wad

I have a similar issue.

I have a CS 1.6 server with AMXX and fast downloading. Everything works correctly except in regards to .wad files. When a client connects to the server and the current map requires a .wad file that the client does not posses, it throws a fatal error "missing wad ...". Now, if the .wad is manually inserted into the client's cstrike directory and the client reconnects it works perfectly.

I can't find a setting or thread regarding this issue. Any thoughts on how to enable the downloading of .wad files from server to client?
Note: All other items are properly downloaded from the server or webhost/redirect.

drekes posted the solution. Searching for 'resgen' will give you more information.

I was able to find the resgen download here:
http://www.cstrike-planet.com/files/78-ResGen

After generating the .res files of my maps directory, I placed the .res files on the server and .wad files are now successfully downloaded.

- Thank you!
