Set a source server for beginners

Hi,

I played in a lot of source servers for beginners but always there were advanced players that broke the game. I have a source server and I would like to set may server for beginners only, and I want to guarantee it.

Is there a way to limit de ratio between kills and deaths? for example, a way to advice first and then kick players with more than 4:1 ratio.

I don't think that you can measure skill like that and thus wouldn't rely on it to identify beginners, but here you go.

It would be terrible for players who come in and kill 4 or 5 people who are flanked or get grenaded after a teammate did a lot of damage. As Impact123 said, it is not a good measure of skill.

You can just deny access based on profile time, but then you would get hackers who make new profiles too. Not so much an issue for paid games.

Hi,

Kill Death Ratio Checker plugin is what I'm looking for. I will set the maximum KD ratio about 3:1 or maybe 4:1. In beginners servers always there are advanced players with 10:1 KD ratio or more, and it discourage the rest of players to still playing. By the moment is the best way I know to keep the server for beginners only.
