Show viewmodel to other players possible?

So.. I got a viewmodel of a pair of boxing gloves which is precached by every player when they join the server & replaces v_knife.mdl, but when i am looking at a player who has that model, the boxing gloves doesn't show up. They can see it in first person mode, but i cannot see their model. Can i make the model show somehow, or is it impossible? (I know this could've been in scripting help, but it involves (maybe) modeling as well etc.. So i just put it here)

But ANTICHRISTUS never finished it

A view model is exactly what it is: a view model. To see a certain model in another player's hands, that player needs to have a p_ model set to him (pev_weaponmodel2 or EV_SZ_weaponmodel).
