Hi everyone, had this guy in my l4D2 server earlier today. Of course he denied everything, it wasn't until I warned him a lot of times that the warning messages stopped appearing.
This is what was in my SMAC.log file on him

Hey, as far as i know "reusing old movement commands" is always a valid ban. Pls correct me if im wrong.

All of your (or many more) players generate these warnings too? If not, he is a cheater.
VAC banned account (CS:S). He is a cheater.
Why not set the SMAC eye test to ban? Not only log warnings. If you n ot trust in the SMAC, then don't use that. In my opinion.

The eyetest module should be immune to false positives in L4D2 and that is definently a correct detection not only are there "suspected of reusing old movement commands" detections but also suspected of tampering with old movement command buttons and tickcount.

Hey everyone,
Thanks so much for your feed back, what sort of cheat is this does anyone know ?
Also I've only had a L4D2 server up for a couple of months, this is the only guy who has flagged SMAC and it basically happened as soon as he entered the game server. He denied everything in game, after multiple warnings by me also to disable what ever he was running it stopped. But only after he started to troll me and ofcourse blame the server lol (typical of a hacker).
Many thanks appreciate the support. This guy is permanately banned on a few servers now.

Its never immune to false positives. Then again I agree with the rest, guy is deff cheating, and OP set your smac to ban not just log it.
