Just want to see what you guys would think about this, running threw a VM.

On Ubuntu 14.04
Have 8gb of ram
4 Cores - 800 MHz Per core (3.2) i5 4460
40 gb of just space (could add more)

Currently running it at.
3000 Mhz of ram
2 cores - 1.6 ghz
40 gb of space.

Any suggestions, Add more ram, one more core? Thanks.

Want around 30-40 Slots, tickrate 64 or 128 depending on what you say.
Gonna be running jailbreak, so lots of plugins and maps.

Get a dedicated server, not a VM...

SRCDS runs really bad under virtualization.

800 MHz Per core
That's wrong.

I really don't recommend to run a Jailbreak server at 128 tickrate, just get a cheap dedicated server if it's only for one SRCDS, doesn't have to be good - get a 2.5GHz+ single-core CPU and you should be fine if all you do is to run one SRCDS at 64tick
