here's what i did to all my amx_ commands. all the commands prefixed by "amx_" are now accessed by the prefix "x". i think it would be a good idea for the standard plugins.

That's a really stupid idea. You can do that with a simple say plugin.

Ex: replace "x" with "amx_" if anyone says it in their chat.

a[1]m[2]x[3]_[4]
x[1]

4-1=3

not to mention, reaching for the underscore key isn't the quickest way to manage your QWERTY keyboard.

[1] thank You for Your comments.
[2] ahhh, yes, the "if in doubt, load another plugin into server memory" rationale. while it works, im not sure that is the optimal solution.
[3] there is a myriad of problems with this. so i type at the Say chat: for example.... (now, the new plugin has to run calculations, trying to figure out if the "x" in "example" is an amx command.

.01% cpu usage taken up by another plugin that converts all ur commmands into x instead of amx_. Extra time: .01 milliseconds.

No probably less. And you wouldn't even notice it due to the lag compensation and client prethinking involved in CS / any HL mod.
