Hey, does anyone know if there are any pre-made A2S_RULES query scripts for PHP? I can't figure out how to code these myself for the life of me

I also understand now the HL1 engine uses the challenge response too which makes it even more difficult for me.

Try searching madquery on google. It is an often used php class to query hl1 servers. I don't know if there are any public fixes for it to be used with modern steam hl1 / hl2 servers yet or not. If not then I could post a patched version I made for my site.

Hey hippo. I searched for quite awhile for a madquery steam script and can't find it. I also can't even find a working link for the won script!

If you don't mind could you please post the patched version you said you have. I would really appreciate that.

I uploaded my patched version to http://harrisonpham.com/querytool/ . The .phps files are the source files (you'll need to copy and paste it into a text file).

madquery.php - The query class (note that it is copyrighted, and I probably broke the license by editing the file...but the author can't be contacted)
serverstatus.php - Example query script.

Note that the example script is a bit slow due to the latency from my webserver to the amxmodx official server. Also, I patched the script right after valve decided to switch to challenged queries for hl1 so the script is slightly hacked together...
