Well, after my first year of college and away from CS 1.6, I'd like to come back to play again and start up another community like I have had in the past. Nothing too big, just like a small, 16 slot server with some mods and such to just sit back and play and have fun.

Is this even possible anymore in 1.6? I've had a server for about a week now, running WC3 mod on it, because my friend told me to start out with that, and nobody has joined.

Do I have more of a chance starting a regular pub or should I just stop wasting my money?

Seriously, nowadays it's pretty hard, since more than 90% on the server list is shitty:

- Stupid plugins
- dproto non-steam server
- slowhacking plugins
- Stupid admins
- Instable server
- Redirect server

So my advice, quick and easy, stop wasting your money.

That's what I was thinking.

The only way I could get together a good server is make my friends come back and play. But most of them have moved on.

You wouldn't think it would be that difficult to get a popular server going, given how difficult it is to find a decent server on 1.6 nowadays. In the UK at least.

Where do you live fuz?

I'm from East Coast United States. Server is located in New York.

I decided to cancel the server so I really don't think it's that big of a deal anymore.

I guess I'll just switch over to Xbox Live

Unique mod = success nowdays.
And a game like Terraria. If some1 makes a mod like this game of some ressemblence, im sure it would have success. LOL its oh so impossible! only by looking at the model limits, the entity limits, you can just forget the idea of making any mod that does not yet exist.
