It appears that all the CS:S servers running on my box get the error of:

Could not establish connection to Steam servers.

on start up.

And when it's up and running and I try to connect to the server, I get this error:

Disconnect: Error verifying STEAM UserID Ticket.

What's the problem?

Try removing the -port and +ip command from the startupline.
I had this a while ago, I have a server directly on the net too. It didn't work, had to delete that and it worked fine.
And check will firewall block your server connection to steam

I need to use the port and IP commands since I have multiple servers on multiple IP addresses.

EDIT: Actually that thread I came across in my hours of googling for this answer and it appears that OP did not state the fix.

EDIT: I got this working, I just removed the -ip and -port command from my start up line, but that still doesn't help since I'm running multiple servers on multiple IPs.
