Is auto group invitation against steam's tos?

So i thought of making a !group plugin where a player get's auto invited to our steam group once he types !group, but will i get banned for that?

It is against the Steam TOS (or if not, it's not supported on the SM website). A plugin was made but it was later removed. Check it out.

You can use the Web Shortcuts to have the MOTD open up your group page, but they'd still have to sign in to join.

Would it ban my Token or only the bot that is sending out invites?

As far as I know it is against the rules of valve and this forums.

Just don't do it.
