Hello.
I have been having a hard time trying to get Sourcemod working on a l4d server (Debian), and i'll give ya a quick runthrough on what i done so far.
Downloaded metamod source and sourcemod from there respective websites. Extracted and uploaded to the server. Generated a metamod.vdf file and uploaded. Started up the server with command line
./srcds_run -console -game left4dead -autoupdate +ip 62.89.32.216 -port 27060 +maxplayers 8 +map l4d_vs_farm01_hilltop
Server gives no error msg while starting up and server.cfg is executed, VAC says hello and so does the master server(s).
meta version gives the following readout.

Also tryed to remove the sourcemod.vdf and insert the addons/sourcemod/bin/sourcemod_mm to the metaplugins.ini but with the same results!
Then also tryed to change sourcemod.vfg form addons/sourcemod/bin/sourcemod_mm to addons/sourcemod/bin/sourcemod.2.l4d.so
meta list will then give the following readout.

meta info 1 will then give the following readout.
Plugin 1 is not loaded.

I have been reading through posts here and im sure 2 searches away from having a subpoena with regards from google, but i have to raise my hands and say "i have no clue where to go from here"
Imput, comments, ideas and sugestions are more then welcome.
