I was looking over the grenade trails plugin and noticed when I tested it out that SetupBeamFollow doesn't appear to work with certain colors. For example, the code below generates an orange trail when it's suppose to generate a white one.

Code:
FlashColor = {225,225,225,225}

TE_SetupBeamFollow(Entity, BeamSprite,    0, Float:1.0, Float:10.0, Float:10.0, 5, FlashColor);
TE_SendToAll();
Why is this, and is there a fix?

I was actually messing with this TE earlier and I dont think blue works for some reason.

Yeah, someone else had a problem getting blue to work in the grenade trails thread. Is this a bug with SM or something funny with the Source engine?

If you look at crystal_beam1.vtf itself it's orange. The color you provide probably only shades it.

ah, is there a sprite i could use that isn't already a specific color?

Theres plenty, look in the GCF files, or open hammer and look at them that way. Thats funny though, I was using the same material for the script I wrote.

Hey thanks! I looked around through the sprites folder and found a couple that aren't already a color and that fixed my color problem.
