Hello all.



CS have some cases, when client download files from server, without HTTP. I want to force it.

Could someone make plugin, which will force player to download from HTTP, without download from server.

As i know - it something like "refresh". After this refresh client reconnects and now he download from HTTP anyway.



Note: sv_allowdownload must be 1

There is already sv_downloadurl

And in your server.cfg you will now place this CVAR

//Downloadurl CVARS
sv_downloadurl "http://www.svdownloadurl.com/username/cstrike/"
sv_allowupload 1
sv_allowdownload 1

replace http://www.svdownloadurl.com with your site and username with your site username.

I see, that you write messages only to spam your servers in signature.

I need plugin, which will FORCE HTTP download. HTTP download works, but now always, because of some CS mistakes.

It's a known "bug", and you can't fix that with a plugin.
With newest patch (hlbeta) they disabled dlfile, and it just got worse, after cancelling connection and reconnecting, player just won't be able to download files, because it tries to do that from server, and dlfile is blocked.

I already sent email about that, and let's hope that will be fixed in new (client?) update.

No i can. Few years ago i was having metamod plugin for it, but i forgot it`s name. But it`s exists, maybe it`s privite. It`s usefull and i am searching for it.

I hope, that someone in this professionals forum know about this metamod or amxmodx plugin.

Then post in the metamod section because it won't happen with AMX Mod X.
