Hello all,
from what I hear Zombie:reloaded is a very good zm mod but I'm new to zombie plugins. I extracted to cstrike its it's all in the right places in cstrike and I THINK I did the other download correctly the overlays one I THINK I extracted that. But when I go into my CS:S server nothing happens is there a code you type into console? Please help. thanks.

ZR have a few requirements. Install in this order:
  1. Metamod
  2. SourceMod
  3. SDK Hooks
  4. ZR - main release
  5. ZR - latest patch (overwrite)

To verify that each component is installed, try these commands: "meta version", "sm version" and "zr_version"

If you have both MM and SM running fine, you might forgot to install SDK Hooks.

Otherwise, check SourceMod's logs in addons/sourcemod/logs for messages from zombiereloaded.smx.

1st download latest Metamod source and extract, the extractd file name must be addons copy/paste addons folder INSIDE Cstrike then go to http://www.sourcemm.net/vdf create vdf file and putit inside addons.
2.then download latest sourcemod ,extract then copy/paste INSIDE Cstrike and overwrite .
3.download latest zombie reloaded, extract then Copy/paste Inside Cstrike
4.download latest zombiereloaded patch and extract, then copy/paste inside Cstrike
5.download SDK hook and extract, then copy/paste Inside Cstrike
thats it your done zombie reloaded should work and you need to have each files listed above in order it works also if you dont know how to get those files search google for it or ask for direct link to download
hope it helps you

SDK Hooks should be extracted into sourcemod, not cstrike.

Do you get some version information when typing "sm version" at the server console? If so, you almost got it.

If not, try "meta version". If that doesn't work either, make sure that Metamod is loaded using a vdf-file (see its install instructions) and not by editing gameinfo.txt.

Otherwise, check out the documentation and installation instructions for Metamod and SourceMod.

If SourceMod works, check logs in cstrike/addons/sourcemod/logs (I told you before, but you might forgot to do this).

Most likely, it's SDK Hooks not installed in the correct place (you should see this in the logs). SDK Hooks' release should be ready to be extracted into cstrike/addons/sourcemod so all its files will be placed in the correct folders.

I'm not sure how far you got, so in summary, answer these questions:
  1. Is Metamod running? (Try "meta verson" command in the server console).
  2. Is SourceMod running? (Try "sm verson" command in the server console).
  3. Is SDK Hooks' zip-file extracted into cstrike/addons/sourcemod? When done you should have "sdkhooks.ext..." files in sourcemod/extensions. Also there should be a "sdkhooks.games" folder in sourcemod/gamedata, with text files for various games.

If all these are ok, post error log messages from SourceMod (especially messages from zombiereloaded.smx).
