Hi,

I came across some problems with the SM ban system.

1.) sm_addban: what admin flag is needed to use this command? Seems it's not "d" for banning while "z" is obviously working.

2.) sm_addban: seems this command needs the steamid in quotation marks:

sm_addban 0 steam_0:0:815815 L 07/30/2007 - 15:29:28: [basecommands.smx] "Console<0><Console><Console>" added ban (minutes "0") (id "steam_0") (reason ":") [SM] Ban has been added. Can't ban users with ID "steam_0" Writing cfg/banned_user.cfg.

sm_addban 0 "steam_0:0:815815" L 07/30/2007 - 1530: [basecommands.smx] "Console<0><Console><Console>" added ban (minutes "0") (id "steam_0:0:815815") (reason ":") [SM] Ban has been added. Writing cfg/banned_user.cfg.

3.) sm_unban: this command doesn't work right:

sm_unban steam_0:0:815815 L 07/30/2007 - 150:42: [basecommands.smx] "Console<0><Console><Console>" removed ban (filter "steam_0:0:815815") [SM] Removed bans matching filter: steam_0:0:815815 removeid: invalid ban ID "steam_0:0:815815" Writing cfg/banned_user.cfg.

sm_unban "STEAM_0:0:815815" L 07/30/2007 - 157:55: [basecommands.smx] "Console<0><Console><Console>" removed ban (filter ""STEAM_0:0:815815"") [SM] Removed bans matching filter: "STEAM_0:0:815815" Usage: removeid < slot | uniqueid > Writing cfg/banned_user.cfg.

A listid shows that the steamid is still banned.

Maybe you can help me out.

This is just for informational as I told you in irc.

1. Requires the rcon flag to use sm_addban.
2. sm_addban requires quotes around the steamid.
3. Fixed in revision 1221.
